We Meet Again!!

Morena, kei te pehea koe? Good morning, how are you today?

It was lovely to see all your smiling faces again - I miss you! Thank you for showing your favourite books and talking about what you think the Microscope is used for - we will have a look through it when we are all back at school. 

Keep looking at My Blog video every morning at about 9:30am and answer the riddle in the comment box with your name at the end of the sentence. Remember it will not just pop up straight away - I read it first and then I publish it. 

Art Exhibition 2020 - Teddies in the Window!

During the recent Lockdown Period many families participated in the Teddies in the Window or We're going on a bear hunt and counted teddies in our neighbourhood. This was a kind and positive act that anyone could join in and made many families happy on their walks. We have recreated the Teddies as a momento of this time. We hope they make you smile.

We have displayed our Art in the Hall and you are all welcome to view the school's art work Thursday afternoon, if you haven't seen it on Wednesday. It is a beautiful showcase of our students' talents and creativity.

Week 6 back at school in a new learning bubble in Room 11!

Welcome back to Room 11 GEMS!

We had a great day back at school and it was really exciting to see all our friends.

Here we are sitting on our planets (tables) and enjoying each other's company. We talked about our last 7 weeks and what it had been like in our bubbles. 

We talked about how we might be feeling today and how to look after each other.

This is a little portion of our day in the classroom! We also ran around half of the field because we need to keep our fitness up, and played on the Junior Playground. We loved playing with our class PE equipment. 

We did drawing, writing and some computer design work. We listened to Mrs T read us a new chapter book. We tidied our stationery and organised pencil pots. 

Please bring any spare cans in for us to decorate!!

Thursday Mrs Trembath Has a few messages to help you out!

Wondering what it will be like coming to school? 

When you come back to school on Monday, you might like to walk with another family. Then, when you say goodbye to Mum or Dad,  you can walk to the classroom area with a buddy.

Mrs Trembath's message for Wednesday! Are you getting organised for school next week?

NO meet at 1:30pm today sorry! And possibly not any Meets tomorrow - I will confirm this afternoon. Getting ready for school!

Monday 11th May Mrs Trembath is busy today!!

Tuesday 21st Mrs Trembath's message for the day - where am I?

Morning to you all! Everyday I try and go for a walk. I like to walk here because on the other side of the water live my Mum and Dad. I like to think about what they are up to in their bubble and sometimes we talk to each other on the phone and I can see what they are having for breakfast!

Keep sharing any pictures of your cuddly friends - they are gorgeous! You are so lucky!
