Little Gardens League - shhh! It isn't public until Monday!

Room 11 has joined the Little Garden's League and taken the oath to teach others to grow, protect and TASTE vegetables!

Everyone has applied to join the league by filling in the application form and posting it into the special letter box!

On Wednesday we had a special code posted to us and we had to decipher a message from Carla Carrot. The next clue will be delivered on Monday!

Today we will choose our seedlings and learn how to care for them.

Sharing Alert 3 our P M I ideas.

Today we wrote a bit about the last two weeks and what it had been like.

We wrote a P M I chart. This stands for Plus Minus and Interesting. We brainstormed and listed what were some of the pluses and minuses and interesting points of the last 2 weeks. Then we had partners to share our ideas and see what was similar and what was different about our time at home.

Tuesday Mrs Trembath's Video Check in - make some puppets today!

 Good Morning Room 11!

I hope you have a great day - looks like a rainbow day of rain and sunshine! Maybe you could do the play from the slides today and create some puppets? Act out the play for the adults in your home after dinner. Put on a show!

Meets tomorrow Wednesday, at 10:30am same code. You are welcome to join in and say hi to your friends. Bring a pencil and something to write on. If you make a puppet bring that too.

Decisions decisions!

Toast or chocolate cake for breakfast? Tell me what you think below!

Thursday Meet - super cool to see you all! Thank you for sharing your favourite books with us all!

Thursday Room 11 Learning Showcase

Sophie is having fun being musical and creative - I have always wanted to learn how to do that!

If you do something similar and would like to email the file to me directly that is fine :)

Thankful Thursday - what are you thankful for today?

Ata Marie Room 11! Please comment on the blog below. The riddle answer from yesterday is NAME. Lots of people have dojos well done! The riddle for today is what has a neck but no head? The Meet today is at 1:30pm. The code was emailed earlier in the week. Please bring and be ready to share your favourite book. Did you guess what Mrs Trembath was showing you on the other video? Please keep sharing your work from the slides in your Inquiry folder. I am waiting for a small group of you - what have you been up to this week???? Take a look at Mrs Daniel's Blog http://shsenvironmental.blogspot.com/ Can you see how Emma has continued the learning with tea that you did in your Enviro sessions in that couple of weeks at school? Also Charlie and Theo have been doing our weeding! What have you been able to do to look after our environment this week? It is Conservation Week next week in New Zealand and we will have an activity in our Week 6 slides to celebrate this.

Wacky Wednesday!

We Meet Again!!

Morena, kei te pehea koe? Good morning, how are you today?

It was lovely to see all your smiling faces again - I miss you! Thank you for showing your favourite books and talking about what you think the Microscope is used for - we will have a look through it when we are all back at school.

Keep looking at My Blog video every morning at about 9:30am and answer the riddle in the comment box with your name at the end of the sentence. Remember it will not just pop up straight away - I read it first and then I publish it.

For all those creative writers - don't forget the Poetry Slides in your Writing Folder.

Evelyn has been busy writing poems using the variety of ideas and instructions in the Poetry Slides in your Writing Folder. If you are a creative writer, you might like to choose a type of poem to write. Maybe write about the pouring rain today and the howling wind and pools of water on the driveway, the black birds slurping worms like spaghetti and the cosy fire that you sit by today!
