Welcome to Room 11's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 3 class and our teacher is Mrs Trembath. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.

Look at us busy at work drawing, cutting, making templates and composing our pictures last week. Our fine motor skills are really improving!
We have been learning about foreground and background.
What is in the foreground and looks like it is close up?
What is on the horizon and in the background?
We also had to have great SELF-BELIEF to get our different parts drawn and planned on the page so that it would all fit!

STEM - using our GEM of SELF BELIEF to make catapults.
Working in pairs today, we found what we thought were simple instructions! Some of us found it tricky to hold the sticks, some found it challenging to stretch a rubber band and twist it at the same time!

Art with Mrs Willmoth on Wednesday!
Clown Portraits using Pastels on Black Cartridge paper. We used our design and compositional skills to persevere (even when we were unsure of the outcome) using our SELF-BELIEF GEM!

Little Gardens League - shhh! It isn't public until Monday!
Room 11 has joined the Little Garden's League and taken the oath to teach others to grow, protect and TASTE vegetables!
Everyone has applied to join the league by filling in the application form and posting it into the special letter box!
On Wednesday we had a special code posted to us and we had to decipher a message from Carla Carrot. The next clue will be delivered on Monday!
Today we will choose our seedlings and learn how to care for them.
